• Team: Healthcare Life Sciences team, working closely with senior members and Managing Directors
• Mission: Structure and execute transactions and serve as a key client contact for the Healthcare Life Sciences group.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Conduct scientific and clinical analysis of therapeutic areas, drug mechanisms, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic positioning.
• Execution: Lead day-to-day transaction execution under the direction of Managing Directors, ensuring smooth process flow.
• Origination: Originate and execute various transactions, including IPOs, Follow-on Public Offerings, PIPEs, Private Placements, and Mergers and Acquisitions.
• Management: Manage and execute on buyer interaction and transaction due diligence processes.
• Review: Review and oversee the development of financial models, valuation analyses, and research documents.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree required, with core domain knowledge gained from investment banking, equity research, or the healthcare industry.
• Experience: 3-6 years of professional experience in investment banking, equity research, or the broader healthcare industry.
• Skills: Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis, exceptional communication skills and executive presence, elevated attention to detail, and SIE, 79, 63 FINRA registrations required at time of hiring or shortly thereafter.
• Bonus: Science background with an MD, PhD, or PharmD strongly preferred.
