This is a hybrid Credit Collections Analyst role at The Pittsburgh Paints Company, located in Cranberry Township, PA. This position is vital for maintaining healthy customer accounts, managing credit risk, and ensuring smooth financial operations for both internal teams and external customers.

• Mission: Provide comprehensive financial support to customers and internal teams, managing credit risk and ensuring account health.
• Tech Stack: SAP, other credit software, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Support: Communicate and answer incoming phone calls from store personnel, resolving customer situations related to credit limits, closed accounts, or accounts on hold.
• Collection Calls: Achieve monthly quotas by performing outbound collection calls to manage delinquent accounts effectively.
• Credit Evaluation: Conduct credit investigations and evaluate credit risk to approve new customer accounts and assign appropriate credit limits.
• Account Monitoring: Monitor accounts daily, placing accounts on hold, releasing orders, reviewing collection notes and aged balances, and providing account adjustments as necessary.
• Policy Compliance & Collaboration: Prepare credit reviews in compliance with the Credit policy and communicate with the commercial sales team on account status and reconciliation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates should have a foundational understanding of finance, accounting, or general business principles.
• Experience: Required experience with SAP and other credit software platforms. Previous credit experience is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills for evaluating credit risk.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-oriented field of study is preferred. Infrequent travel expectations can be up to 10%.
