Investment Operations – Senior Analyst (PE) | Petra Funds Group

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Petra Funds Group, located in a hybrid work environment. Our client is a rapidly growing Global Private Markets firm that provides customized investment and advisory solutions to sophisticated investors worldwide, managing $640B in total capital allocations and $143 billion in AUM. This role is crucial for supporting Private Equity transaction execution, requiring a hands-on and entrepreneurial professional within a close-knit team that navigates a fast-moving and evolving operational landscape. The Senior Analyst will manage numerous concurrent deals and workstreams, reprioritizing tasks as timelines shift, while keeping all stakeholders continuously informed throughout the process.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Allocations: Prepare client allocations across the platform for each Private Equity investment transaction.
• Funding: Support transaction funding logistics, including capital calls and tracking of recallable and recycled capital.
• Operational Support: Provide hands-on support on complex operational matters, including foreign exchange, deal syndications, and bridge financing.
• Deal Monitoring: Monitor each deal end-to-end through Power BI reporting, ensuring alignment with internal close protocols.
• Coordination: Coordinate the Investment, Legal, Tax, Accounting, and Treasury teams to keep transactions on track and manage information flow.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Experience in Middle Office or other investment fund related roles is preferred.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience. Experience in fund-of-fund trading or Private Equity is a plus.
• Skills: Demonstrates commitment, accuracy, and attention to detail in a high-volume environment. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and achieve target deadlines. Good analytical skills with a flair for processes and strong IT skills.
• Bonus: Familiarity with LP Interest secondaries and co-investments is strongly preferred.
