Fund Finance Analyst, Private Equity | Oliver James

In this position, you will work closely with senior leadership to enhance fund performance. This involves comprehensive financial modelling, forecasting, FP&A activities, and investor reporting. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modelling: Build and maintain complex financial models designed to accurately forecast fund performance and project investment returns for various scenarios.
• Strategic Planning: Prepare detailed scenario analysis and comprehensive business planning models to inform strategic decisions.
• Performance Analysis: Lead all FP&A activities, including key performance indicator (KPI) reporting, and conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess fund health.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Support all aspects of quarterly and annual fund reporting, ensuring clear and effective investor communications.
• Collaborative Initiatives: Partner closely with both finance and investment teams on strategic initiatives and provide ad hoc analysis as required for critical business needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An essential FP&A or Finance Analyst background gained specifically within the media, entertainment, music, or content industry.
• Experience: Over 5 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Fund Finance, or FP&A, including advanced Excel and financial modelling, and demonstrated expertise working with complex financial data and reporting.
• Skills: Strong accounting and analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills for effective cross-stakeholder collaboration, and a highly organised, detail-oriented, and commercially minded approach.
