BestDrive Recruiting Intern | BestDrive by Continental
The Tone:
This is a 12-month internship at BestDrive by Continental, located in Fort Mill, SC, requiring three days onsite per week. BestDrive, a wholly owned subsidiary of Continental, specializes in providing innovative commercial tire solutions for trucking fleets, offering high-quality products from Continental and General Tire brands, as well as multi-brand truck tires. The company has grown to 25 locations across the United States since 2012 and is continuing to expand rapidly. This role directly supports the growth of the organization by providing hands-on experience across the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and efficient hiring operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support full-cycle recruiting activities from initial requisition approval through the completion of all pre-employment requirements.
• Source candidates from various channels including job boards, LinkedIn, networking opportunities, and career fairs, then review resumes for qualification.
• Coordinate candidate communications and schedule interviews, managing calendars and logistics for phone, virtual, and onsite meetings.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to facilitate candidate selection decisions and draft offer letters for approval and extension.
• Administer pre-employment processes by distributing onboarding documentation, initiating and monitoring background screenings, and tracking drug testing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, Psychology, Marketing, or a related field. Junior or Senior class standing preferred, with a minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Experience: Ability to commit to a 12-month internship, working at least 20 hours per week during standard business hours, with availability to work onsite three days per week. Strong interest in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, and Human Resources.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines simultaneously, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: Previous internship experience in Recruiting, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Staffing, or Administrative Support, experience with SmartRecruiters or another Applicant Tracking System (ATS), familiarity with background screening processes, onboarding activities, or pre-employment administration, and experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn or other talent platforms.
