The Tone:
This is a Co-op role at Delta Air Lines, located in Atlanta, GA, requiring 3 alternating semesters. Delta Air Lines, a global leader in aviation, supports a large and diverse workforce. This role is within the Global Health & Wellness team, where the Leaves & Absences Transformation function plays a vital part in assisting employees during significant life events. By redesigning the employee leave experience, this position directly contributes to Delta’s commitment to employee care, wellbeing, and maintaining operational excellence across the entire employee journey.

• Team: Global Health & Wellness team, Leaves & Absences Transformation function, partnering with HR, Operations, and Technology teams.
• Mission: To support the redesign of Delta’s employee leave experience, making it more seamless, compassionate, and modern.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Actively support the end-to-end redesign of the employee leave journey, with a primary focus on simplifying processes, improving clarity, and enhancing moments of care across medical, family, and return-to-work leaves.
• Analyze: Analyze employee experience data, operational metrics, and feedback to precisely identify pain points, underlying trends, and specific opportunities for improvement within existing leave programs.
• Apply: Apply established project management and change management principles to effectively support transformation initiatives throughout their lifecycle, from initial concept development through successful implementation.
• Collaborate: Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to accurately document current-state processes and then design innovative future-state workflows that significantly improve efficiency, consistency, and the overall employee experience.
• Develop: Develop clear insights, actionable recommendations, and compelling presentations that effectively translate complex data and findings into tangible, implementable improvements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate student (sophomore or above) who has successfully completed a minimum of 30 semester hours, with a minimum 2.5 GPA that must be maintained.
• Experience: Must be able to complete 3 alternating Co-op rotations in Atlanta, GA, according to the schedule (Fall 2026, Summer 2027, Spring 2028). Students must not take any academic classes (online or in-person) during Co-op semesters.
• Skills: Project management, change management, data analysis, process engineering, internal consulting, cross-functional collaboration, effective communication, and a human-centered approach to transformation work.
