This is an internship role at J.9xmedia, located in Chicago, IL, with the flexibility for some remote work. This role is vital for contributing fresh ideas and content that resonate with modern audiences, while providing a supportive environment for emerging content professionals to learn, experiment, and grow.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Development & Production: Assist in the full lifecycle of developing and producing diverse digital content, including creating social media posts, short videos, graphics, and engaging copy for various online platforms.
• Idea Generation & Copywriting: Actively participate in brainstorming sessions for content ideas, then draft and edit clear, compelling captions and scripts tailored for different digital channels.
• Content Scheduling & Analysis Support: Manage the scheduling of digital posts and provide essential support for basic content analytics and reporting to track performance and inform future strategies.
• Creative Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the creative team on ongoing projects and actively participate in planning meetings to contribute to campaign strategy and execution.
• Brand Voice & Deadline Management: Help ensure all produced content is consistent with the established brand voice and visual style, while effectively managing deadlines across multiple projects and proactively contributing fresh ideas.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student or emerging professional with basic familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn) and a strong interest in current digital content trends. Possess an interest in visual storytelling, coupled with a basic understanding of creating video, image, or graphic content.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability through personal projects or a portfolio to showcase digital content creation skills or interest. Comfort with proactively learning new digital tools and adapting to evolving best practices is expected.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational skills and reliability in consistently meeting deadlines across multiple projects.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a hybrid work environment.
• Initiative to learn and adapt to new digital tools and content creation methodologies.
• Bonus: Prior experience with basic content or design tools such as Canva, Capcut, Adobe Premiere, or similar software is a plus.
