Creator Operation Manager Intern (TikTok Shop – Operations) | TikTok

The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA, for the 2026 Summer. TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy globally. The company operates offices in major cities worldwide, including Los Angeles. This role is crucial for the TikTok Shop US operation team, which is dedicated to bringing discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping by establishing TikTok as the leading commerce platform of choice for brands, creators, and shoppers. This internship helps scale the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt phenomenon and pioneers content and creator commerce in the US.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Account Management: Take charge of key accounts’ business performance on TikTok Shop and enable sellers to sustainably grow their business within the eco-system.
• Creator Growth: Grow a stable supply of live shopping content by elevating the penetration of high potential creator talents.
• Partnership Facilitation: Act as the bridge between creators, partners, and sellers to identify potential business opportunities.
• Strategic Guidance: Provide insights, product recommendations, and direction on growth and development strategies to merchants based on data analysis and current eco-system trends.
• Cross-functional Problem Solving: Solve key challenges in business growth through strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing an MBA Degree.
• Experience: Ability to work independently, effectively manage multiple sensitive and high-profile initiatives, and demonstrate dedication to negotiation and driving collaborations between different partners.
• Skills: Effective communication skills, particularly the ability to convey complex content concepts in a clear and compelling manner to drive successful client engagements. Candidates should also be curious, self-motivated, and possess a bias-for-action, embracing a ‘no task is too small’ mentality.
• Bonus: Quick learner, achieving results in a fast-paced environment and continuously adapting to changing business needs. A creative mindset and thought process focused on educating sellers on how to grow and thrive. Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills, particularly implemented in external facing situations. Attention to detail, an affinity with numbers, logical thinking, strong problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with TikTok and other content platforms.
