The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
Strategic Research: Lead in-depth research and discovery for critical special projects, uncovering key insights to drive data-backed decision-making for executive initiatives.
Executive Support: Create, format, and model comprehensive travel briefing memos to thoroughly prepare the CEO for external meetings, events, and important trips.
Workflow Optimization: Review existing executive workflows, identify opportunities for automation, and propose solutions to streamline communications and significantly increase day-to-day productivity.
Visual Communication: Utilize presentation and graphic design skills to build visually compelling decks, reports, and various assets essential for high-impact executive meetings and presentations.
Long-Term Planning: Support the company’s long-term vision by assisting in the thinking through, researching, and mapping out benchmarks for major milestones within annual planning frameworks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Candidates should have a strong interest in business administration, strategic management, communication, or another related field. No specific college degree or prior work experience is required, just a passion for learning and adapting to goodr’s culture.
• Experience: This is a 9-week paid internship running from August 31st, 2026, to October 30th, 2026. The role is strictly onsite at goodr’s Inglewood, CA office during regular business hours (9am – 5pm), with a minimum half-day presence required on Tuesdays. Applicants must reside in Los Angeles or the surrounding area for the internship’s duration.
• Skills: Exceptional communication skills, including the maturity, confidence, and collaborative style necessary to interface effectively with executive-level leadership and internal teams. Candidates must possess natural curiosity, sharp research abilities to gather information and analyze trends, outstanding organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail, rock-solid integrity, and the highest level of discretion. The ideal intern is also proactive and an independent problem solver.
• Bonus: A strong graphic design eye and presentation layout skills are a significant plus, with bonus points for knowledge of Figma. A forward-thinking mindset with an interest in high-level business strategy, milestone benchmarking, and annual planning frameworks is also preferred.
