The Tone:
This is an internship / early career role at SCALIS, located in Los Angeles, CA, with a hybrid work arrangement. This internal-facing role is vital for enhancing the productivity of every team member by identifying inefficiencies and implementing AI-powered solutions, directly impacting how the company operates day-to-day.

• Mission: Identify team inefficiencies and build AI-powered tools, workflows, and automations to increase productivity.
• Tech Stack: LLMs (Claude, GPT-4), Zapier, Make, Notion, Python scripting
What You’ll Actually Do
• Interview teammates: Understand where manual, repetitive, or slow work is happening across various departments.
• Build and deploy tools: Develop and implement internal AI tools, automations, and prompt workflows utilizing LLMs and no-code/low-code platforms.
• Create AI-assisted processes: Design templates and processes for tasks like writing, research, outreach, reporting, and quality assurance, leveraging AI.
• Prototype and iterate: Quickly develop and test solutions with real users, gathering feedback to continuously improve them.
• Document and train: Create documentation and provide training to teammates on the tools built to ensure widespread adoption.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Experience: Hands-on experience building with LLMs through prompt engineering, API integrations, or AI-powered workflows; comfort working with automation tools like Zapier, Make, or Notion.
• Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively listen to and diagnose teammate friction points; a self-starter mindset to identify problems, scope solutions, and ship them independently.
• Bonus: Experience with Python scripting or lightweight backend development; familiarity with productivity tools such as Slack, Linear, or Notion; prior experience building internal tools or automating operations at a startup; interest in HR technology, recruiting workflows, or the future of work.
