The Tone:
This is an internship at North Jersey Pro Soccer, located in Paterson, NJ with a hybrid work option. North Jersey Pro Soccer operates two professional sports organizations: the New York Cosmos (soccer) and the New Jersey Jackals (baseball). This role is vital for students seeking to gain real-world experience by supporting merchandise planning, retail operations, and e-commerce functions across both teams. Interns will contribute to delivering an exceptional fan experience through matchdays, community events, online sales, and special merchandise launches.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Support: Support merchandise operations during New York Cosmos and New Jersey Jackals home games, community events, and special activations.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, receiving shipments, product organization, and stock replenishment.
• E-Commerce Fulfillment: Assist with Shopify product listings, inventory updates, online order fulfillment, and e-commerce operations.
• Retail Merchandising: Help merchandise and maintain retail displays throughout the stadium and at off-site events.
• Promotional Collaboration: Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative teams on merchandise promotions, theme nights, and fan engagement campaigns.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
• Experience: Availability to assist during evenings, weekends, and home games as needed.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and time management skills, comfort working independently and collaboratively, and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms, experience with inventory management, retail, or customer service, experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools, interest in apparel, sports merchandising, fashion, or product development, knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and an interest in professional sports business and revenue generation.
