Entertainment Partnerships and Operations Project Intern | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is a leading global platform for short-form mobile video, inspiring creativity and bringing joy to its users. This role is crucial for supporting the growth, operations, trend intelligence, and monetization strategy for TV/Film creators in the U.S., offering hands-on experience in a rapidly evolving industry. You will contribute meaningfully to high-visibility projects and explore a potential career path in operations within entertainment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Support the development and rollout of new creator monetization initiatives that increase adoption of TikTok-owned products and programs.
• Talent Identification: Identify high-potential TV/Film creators and emerging voices by monitoring content trends, creator behavior, and platform activity.
• Program Management: Independently manage end-to-end creator program operations, including lead vetting, creator onboarding, and program tracking.
• Reporting: Produce regular reporting on the U.S. film and television industry, including competitor activity, creator trends, and audience behavior.
• Efficiency: Build and maintain trackers, templates, and standard operating procedures to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s Degree.
• Skills: Possess strong English reading, writing, and synthesis skills to distill complex industry information; demonstrate strong research, analytical, and organizational abilities; be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable using spreadsheets and data tools for performance monitoring; able to manage multiple workstreams and commit to a minimum 12-week internship during Summer 2026.
• Bonus: Deep familiarity with the U.S. film and television landscape, entertainment fandoms, and social conversation; strong understanding of TikTok and other major social platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and X; prior experience in creator operations, content strategy, entertainment marketing, community management, program management, or market/competitive research; strong data fluency; interest in the creator economy, AI advancement, entertainment strategy, digital culture, and platform monetization.
