Student Consultant Internship — Strategy, Marketing, Research & Client Relations | Constellate Strategy Group
The Tone:
This is a remote, unpaid, pro-bono student consulting opportunity at Constellate Strategy Group. Constellate is an intercollegiate pro-bono consulting group that connects student talent with small businesses and nonprofit organizations seeking strategic support. Members work directly with organizations on projects involving market research, marketing strategy, client growth, operations, product development, customer insights, and organizational improvement. This role offers hands-on consulting experience, allowing students to work on real client engagements and contribute to community impact.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct market, competitor, customer, and industry research for client projects.
• Analysis: Analyze business challenges and identify opportunities to develop strategic recommendations.
• Project Support: Support marketing, growth, product development, or operational projects for clients.
• Deliverables: Create professional slide decks and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Client Engagement: Participate in discovery calls, client meetings, and present findings to clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing high school or college education (Classes of 2028, 2029, 2030), with an interest in consulting, business, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, technology, research, communications, or nonprofit work.
• Experience: No prior consulting experience is required; dependable team members who can consistently contribute to team projects and meet deadlines are sought.
• Skills: Strong communication, organization, collaboration, problem-solving, and a willingness to learn.
• Bonus: Initiative, professionalism, creativity, curiosity, and a genuine interest in helping small businesses and nonprofit organizations.
