What You’ll Actually Do
• Collect & Organize: Collect and organize data from various sources to ensure comprehensive input.
• Clean & Validate: Clean and validate datasets to maintain accuracy and consistency for analysis.
• Analyze & Identify: Analyze datasets to identify key trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
• Create & Visualize: Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Query & Manipulate: Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data for specific reporting needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Basic knowledge of SQL for data retrieval; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts; familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau through projects or coursework; and a foundational understanding of statistics and data analysis concepts.
• Skills: SQL for querying and data manipulation; Microsoft Excel for data processing and basic reporting; proficiency with Power BI or Tableau for creating visual dashboards; foundational understanding of basic statistics; practical application of data visualization techniques; and competence in data cleaning and preparation.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analysis tasks; familiarity with database structures and data warehousing concepts; prior experience from projects, internships, or academic research involving data analysis; an understanding of business intelligence and reporting tools; and basic knowledge of ETL processes for data integration.
