What You’ll Actually Do
• Communications Content: Develop communications content and materials tailored to specific target audiences.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage stakeholders through interviews, focus groups, and other organized meeting formats.
• Event Coordination: Coordinate event logistics and provide comprehensive support for virtual and in-person meetings.
• Research and Reporting: Conduct thorough research, analyze data, write detailed case studies and reports, and disseminate the findings.
• Grant Program Support: Support grant programs by responding to applicant questions, reviewing applications, conducting on-site inspections, and developing outreach materials.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a B.S. or B.A. in Environmental Studies/Science, Environmental Policy, or a related academic field.
• Experience: Possess 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Skills:
• Be self-motivated and capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively in both in-person and virtual team settings.
• Possess strong organizational capabilities, demonstrating the ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing deadlines effectively.
• Exhibit excellent written communication skills, adept at simplifying complex technical concepts for audiences with non-technical backgrounds.
• Demonstrate experience in crafting written content for a variety of audiences, including technical experts, the general public, and industry professionals, across diverse mediums such as print, web, and social platforms.
