Social Media & Brand Marketing Intern | Astra Wear

The Tone:
This is a Social Media & Brand Marketing Internship at Astra Wear, located in Los Angeles with a hybrid schedule. Astra Wear is a female-founded Pilates leg-wear brand creating grip socks inspired by movement, wellness, and the women who do it all, designed to take wearers from the studio to everyday life. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the founder and gain hands-on experience in content creation, influencer marketing, events, and brand building for a growing startup.

• Mission: This role supports Astra Wear across content creation, social media strategy, influencer partnerships, photoshoots, pop-up events, and day-to-day brand operations to grow an emerging brand.
• Tech Stack: Canva, TikTok, Instagram

What You’ll Actually Do
• Social Media Strategy: Assist with content planning and scheduling across Instagram and TikTok platforms.
• Content Production: Support content creation efforts, including filming, editing, and trend research for social media.
• Influencer Relations: Help with influencer outreach, gifting, and partnership management to expand brand reach.
• Brand Events: Assist with photoshoots, content days, and pop-up events to promote the brand.
• Marketing Initiatives: Contribute ideas for future collections and campaigns, create marketing materials using Canva, and support email marketing and product launches.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a college or university program and eligible for academic credit, with a passion for wellness, Pilates, fashion, and social media.
• Experience: Prior experience with Canva, TikTok, and Instagram is required for this role.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, coupled with a self-starter attitude and willingness to learn.
• Bonus: Reliable transportation for occasional in-person shoots and events in the Los Angeles area.
