What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Organization: Organize various documents for attorney review, ensuring materials are readily accessible.
• Public Records Research: Research public records using both internal firm resources and external public websites.
• Closing Support: Assist with preparing binders, compiling closing books, making copies, and maintaining transaction files.
• Data Management: Perform database research and accurate data entry to update and maintain records.
• Information Retrieval: Obtain documents and other critical information from governmental and public agencies, as well as accounting and timekeeping for audit letter responses.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED; ability to support real estate paralegals and attorneys in a law firm environment.
• Experience: 1 year of demonstrated success working in a busy professional environment.
• Skills: Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and database use; strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills; ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal certificate, and previous office experience in a law firm environment.
