The Tone:
This is an internship at FoodprintAI, located remotely. FoodprintAI is an early-stage climate technology startup that helps companies understand, manage, and reduce product-level environmental impacts. The company’s platform supports emissions analysis, sustainability data workflows, and decision-making for product design, sourcing, and procurement. This role is important because it strengthens FoodprintAI’s external presence and ensures company updates, product insights, sustainability topics, and market developments are communicated clearly and engagingly to professional audiences.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Strategy: Support the planning, creation, and execution of content for the company’s LinkedIn page and other marketing channels.
• Communications Drafting: Draft and refine social media posts, newsletter content, and other external-facing communications for professional audiences.
• Market Research: Monitor trends and developments in sustainability, climate technology, and AI to identify relevant content opportunities and inform marketing initiatives.
• Visual Asset Creation: Create visual assets such as social media graphics, carousels, one-pagers, and other marketing materials using design tools.
• Performance Analysis: Track content performance metrics and provide recommendations for improving engagement and reach across various channels.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, design, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience creating social media, marketing, design, or public-facing content through coursework, internships, student organizations, startups, nonprofits, or personal projects.
• Skills: Strong written communication skills, proficiency with Canva or similar design tools, comfort using AI tools or large language models for content creation and research, strong attention to detail, and an organized, proactive approach to managing multiple tasks.
• Bonus: Prior experience supporting social media marketing, brand communications, content creation, or digital campaigns; familiarity with LinkedIn content creation, content calendars, social media analytics, or campaign planning; exposure to sustainability, carbon accounting, supply chains, or climate technology.
