The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, Murfreesboro, TN
• Team: Reports to Human Resources Manager, supporting the Murfreesboro Distribution Center team.
• Mission: Owns supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and day-to-day HR processes for the hourly workforce.
• Tech Stack: Paycom, Microsoft Office

What You’ll Actually Do
• Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process for hourly positions, including posting, resume review, and conducting interviews directly and through staffing agencies.
• Record Management: Maintain accurate employee records in both paper and electronic formats, ensuring HRIS system integrity using Paycom.
• Onboarding & Training: Conduct comprehensive onboarding for new hourly employees, enter their information into the HRIS, and track employee training records.
• Employee Communications: Prepare internal communications regarding benefits, compliance training, and company policies for all employees.
• HR Support: Assist the Human Resources Manager in addressing employee relations issues and supporting various employee and activity initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate degree in business or equivalent academic experience, focusing on general HR functions.
• Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in an HR field, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Skills: Problem solving, strong interpersonal and people-focused abilities, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree.
