Marketing & Strategy Intern | LUPFR Entertainment

The Tone:
This is an internship at LUPFR Entertainment, based in San Francisco with remote-friendly aspects and required event presence across the Bay Area. LUPFR Entertainment redefines music experiences by blending non-traditional venues with specially curated artists to create one-of-a-kind events, successfully bridging the gap between the underground music scene and high-quality, accessible experiences since 2025. This role is crucial for owning and evolving the LUPFR brand across all public-facing channels, encompassing content, community, creative work, strategy, PR support, and B2B communications, directly influencing brand reflection and growth in close collaboration with the founder.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Front-End Content & Community: Oversee day-to-day content and community engagement across Instagram and TikTok, including coordinating with the videographer to ensure content is on-brand and delivered on schedule, assisting with caption writing, optimizing posting cadence, and leveraging platform-native formats.
• Support Event Coverage & Trend Identification: Be present at Bay Area events to facilitate content capture and real-time coverage, while actively identifying emerging trends, content formats, and cultural moments to inform and drive organic growth strategies.
• Drive Email & SMS Marketing: Execute and expand LUPFR’s email and SMS marketing initiatives using Klaviyo, including crafting event announcements, developing targeted campaigns, and performing audience segmentation to maximize engagement and reach.
• Manage Professional Communications & PR: Maintain and grow LUPFR’s LinkedIn presence for B2B communications, and assist with public relations efforts such as press outreach, managing media lists, and tracking event coverage.
• Contribute to Growth Strategy & Analytics: Actively contribute to broader growth strategies for the business alongside the founder, tracking performance analytics across all marketing platforms and reporting on key insights and effective initiatives to inform future decisions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student based in San Francisco or the greater Bay Area with availability to attend events, seeking practical experience in marketing and brand strategy within the entertainment industry.
• Experience: Proven fluency in Instagram and TikTok, demonstrated by an understanding of performing content and growth mechanisms; comfortable crafting compelling copy for both consumer and professional audiences; experience with or willingness to rapidly learn Klaviyo for email and SMS marketing.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong brand consciousness with an ability to identify and rectify off-brand elements, a keen interest in growth strategy that extends beyond individual posts, and foundational analytical skills to track and interpret performance data.
• Bonus: A genuine passion for music, culture, and creative industries, which will enhance understanding and execution within the LUPFR brand context.
