Virtual Professional Skin Therapist Intern | Dermalogica

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time (10–25 hours/week, including weekends and early mornings)
• Location: Remote
• Pay: $18.5 hourly
• Team: US Customer Care team
• Mission: Deliver exceptional customer service by providing expert skincare advice, product recommendations, and transactional support to customers.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), Zendesk (preferred), other customer relationship management (CRM) platforms (preferred)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for Professional Skin Therapists through Live Chat and Email, providing expert skincare guidance and product recommendations.
• Transactional Assistance: Deliver timely and effective support for customer transactions and service-related inquiries, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Educational Integration: Support Dermalogica’s educational initiatives by staying current on new products, treatments, and training updates.
• Content Enhancement: Partner with the Education team to maintain and enhance product information, training resources, and customer support content within the online knowledge base.
• Feedback Loop: Identify, document, and escalate customer experience trends and opportunities, acting as a voice of the customer to help drive continuous improvement.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Licensed Skin Therapist with at least one year of hands-on professional experience, possessing strong knowledge of Dermalogica products, treatments, and skincare recommendations.
• Experience: At least one year of hands-on professional experience as a Skin Therapist.
• Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to confidently provide skincare guidance across multiple communication channels.
• Bonus: Experience using Zendesk or other customer relationship management (CRM) platforms is preferred. Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a positive team environment.
