What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide direct support to licensed Pharmacists in the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical services to patients.
• Execute essential medication distribution functions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals throughout the hospital.
• Perform sterile intravenous (IV) compounding, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards for patient-specific preparations.
• Contribute to a variety of other duties and initiatives specifically designed to improve and enhance hospital-wide patient care.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in, or acceptance into, an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy, demonstrating a foundational commitment to a career in pharmacy.
• Experience: No specific years required for this role.
• Skills: Possess an active Pharmacy Intern Permit with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy prior to starting orientation; ability to assist with pharmaceutical services, perform medication distribution, and conduct IV compounding.
• Bonus: Previous work experience within an inpatient hospital environment is preferred.
