The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person, Indianapolis, IN
• Pay: $19.50–$32.50 hourly
• Team: Works within a pharmacy team.
• Mission: Gain hands-on experience, learn to improve customer health and wellness, and advocate for patient wellbeing within a community pharmacy setting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality of information, documentation, and records according to Company policies and all applicable local, State, and Federal guidelines.
• Order Processing: Help with processing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases for patients.
• Patient Care Delivery: Deliver patient care by recognizing individual patient needs, assessing them, and assisting with navigating clinical therapies.
• Inventory Management: Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, and proactively maintain the pharmacy area.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, currently enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required, but an understanding of pharmaceutical care principles is essential, gained through current enrollment.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Excellent ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Capability to cater to individual patient needs.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
• Bonus: Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
