Implementation Intern | Fast Enterprises, LLC

This is an internship at Fast Enterprises, LLC, a provider of essential software and services for government and citizens. Fast Enterprises builds and implements critical systems across various sectors including Tax, Motor Vehicle, Driver License, Unemployment Insurance, and Child Support Engagement. • Pay: $26 hourly
• Mission: Consult with agencies to understand their business needs and implement FAST software to best serve their customers.
• Tech Stack: VB.Net, C#, SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Consult: Consult with agencies to understand their business needs and implement the FAST software effectively.
• Configure: Configure client-specific functionality using FAST tools within the software’s user interface, as well as VB.Net or C#.
• Query: Create and modify SQL queries to efficiently retrieve data from a relational database.
• Implement: Implement new features and navigate them through testing and deployment.
• Investigate: Identify and investigate complex issues to make decisions and develop solutions for clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current undergraduate student in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related area of study with technical training or experience.
• Experience: Experience in a .NET or similar development environment, coupled with exposure to SQL in database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; strong sense of personal ownership and pride in your work; ability to work independently and contribute significantly within a team.
• Bonus: Openness to relocating for the summer to a project location throughout the US, with relocation assistance provided.
