What You’ll Actually Do
• Find and place qualified candidates into suitable roles: Directly contribute to the company’s mission by effectively matching passive and active job seekers with client opportunities, including delivering job offers and negotiating terms of employment.
• Partner with internal teams to understand client hiring requirements: Consult and prioritize effectively with internal colleagues to gain a comprehensive understanding of client hiring needs across diverse industries like technical, accounting & finance, and healthcare staffing.
• Develop and nurture relationships with job seekers: Proactively build and maintain strong, genuine connections with both existing and new candidates, understanding their career aspirations and guiding them through the recruitment process.
• Identify, reach out to, and evaluate potential candidates: Systematically source, contact, and screen a wide range of candidates, conducting thorough phone calls and virtual meetings to qualify or disqualify them for specific openings.
• Prepare candidates for client interviews and gather feedback: Provide essential preparation to candidates for their interviews, and then conduct crucial briefings and debriefings post-interview to ensure effective communication and successful placement outcomes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree, demonstrating a foundation for an early career in business development and recruiting.
• Experience: Proven leadership experience gained through internships and/or participation in campus organizations.
• Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills for effective candidate and team interaction; a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and competitive drive for goal achievement; coachable and enthusiastic approach to teamwork and industry best practices; and the ability to “think on your feet” for quick problem-solving.
• Bonus: A strong desire to pursue a career path in sales and leadership.
