What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Planning: Support the comprehensive planning and execution of creative community events from conception through post-event stages.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate event timelines, track critical tasks, and assist with logistics before, during, and after various special events.
• Operational Support: Manage calendars, prepare essential briefings and recaps, and organize digital files to maintain clear records.
• Stakeholder Communication: Support direct communication channels between the organization and external vendors, partners, and collaborators.
• Outreach & Development: Contact potential sponsors, partners, and venues, while also assisting in drafting key event materials like run-of-show documents and outreach messages.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current student or recent graduate in communications, business, marketing, event management, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest in event planning and operations, with comfort in managing multiple priorities and adapting to new tools or processes. An eagerness to understand the production of streetwear, fashion, creative communities, or cultural events is essential.
• Skills: Strong organizational and project coordination abilities, including effective task tracking, time management, and meticulous attention to detail. A proactive, resourceful mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaborate respectfully within a diverse remote team.
• Bonus: Ability to work occasional flexible hours aligning with event timelines and key milestones; local to the area for potential on-site support during event days.
