The Tone:
This is an early career role at ServiceMaster® Brands, operating in a hybrid capacity with 2-3 days in office each week. ServiceMaster® Brands is a leading provider of residential and commercial services in restoration, cleaning, moving, and bioremediation, operating over 4,600 locations through 3,200 franchisees. This HR Coordinator position offers an excellent opportunity for an entry-level HR professional to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources and grow their career within this growing organization. The role will primarily support the HR Business Partner team while also assisting the Compensation & Benefits and People Analytics/HRIS teams, ultimately helping to achieve the company’s mission to “be there when you need us” by ensuring robust internal support.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Employee Inquiry Management: Serve as the initial point of contact for the HR department inbox, professionally responding to and assisting with level one employee emails and requests, while accurately triaging and escalating all other inquiries to the appropriate HR teams in a timely manner.
• Onboarding and Offboarding Coordination: Support the training team with essential onboarding activities, including scheduling sessions, preparing necessary materials, and ensuring a positive initial experience for new employees, in addition to assisting with employee offboarding processes such as conducting exit surveys, managing documentation, and coordinating logistics.
• HR Program and Project Support: Provide critical administrative assistance for various HR programs, ongoing initiatives, special projects, and annual processes, which includes tracking policy acknowledgments, monitoring training completion, conducting audits, generating reports, and coordinating process flows as needed.
• HR Data and Records Maintenance: Execute precise data entry, manage document flow, maintain accurate recordkeeping, and ensure all HR files are organized and up-to-date in full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Employee Engagement and Recognition Efforts: Actively support and contribute to employee engagement activities, wellness initiatives, company-wide events, and employee appreciation efforts, while also regularly pulling, maintaining, communicating, and distributing employee milestone reports for birthdays, service anniversaries, and other recognition updates.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with core domain knowledge in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• Experience: No specific years required; previous administrative or internship experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication, a customer service mindset, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or previous internship or administrative experience.
