Special Project Strategist Intern (TikTok Shop – Operations) – 2026 Summer (MBA) | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is the leading global destination for short-form mobile video, aiming to inspire creativity and bring joy to its users. This role is crucial for expanding the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt phenomenon and pioneering content and creator commerce in the US, shaping the future of shopping on the platform.

• Mission: This person will help build an innovative, secure, and intuitive e-commerce ecosystem by supporting business leaders in project execution and strategy implementation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Deeply support business leaders to disassemble project tasks, set priorities, and add value to the business team.
• Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive strategy, including goal/budget setting and performance review.
• Analysis: Conduct data analysis to evaluate the performance of merchandise and seller growth, identify trends, and make recommendations for optimization.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute the overall strategy.
• Process: Participate in the design and implementation of business operation management systems and processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an MBA Degree as a student.
• Experience: Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer Fall 2026. Preferred experience includes prior e-commerce internships or a solid understanding of the industry landscape, especially content-based eCommerce.
• Skills: Good logical thinking, business analysis ability, systematic thinking, critical thinking, strong learning ability, execution ability, stress resistance, communication, coordination, resource integration ability, and project management ability.
• Bonus: Interest in e-commerce business, familiarity with TikTok and other content platforms, strong network and connections with brands and/or retailers, and passion for TikTok and eCommerce.
