This position is vital for managing critical freight documentation, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records, directly supporting operational efficiency and customer service for a growing team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Documentation: Prepare, process, and maintain all necessary freight documentation, including bills of lading, manifests, and shipping records.
• Verification: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all details are correct.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter shipment information into company systems and maintain precise, organized records.
• Coordination: Coordinate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
• Customer Support: Assist customers with freight inquiries, tracking requests, and providing required shipping documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent education is required, with a preference for foundational knowledge in logistics, shipping, transportation, warehouse operations, or clerical support.
• Experience: Previous experience in logistics, shipping, transportation, warehouse operations, or general clerical support is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and accurate data entry abilities.
• Bonus: Experience utilizing shipping, freight, or inventory management systems is a plus.
