Marketing Coordinator | Volusia Branding & Digital

Volusia Branding & Digital is a growing web design and digital marketing agency that serves local businesses by building memorable brands and effective digital marketing strategies. This role is crucial as the connective tissue for operations, ensuring client projects progress, communication flows smoothly, and deadlines are consistently met. • Team: Works directly alongside experienced agency operators, coordinating across a network of staff, contractors, vendors, and partners.
• Mission: Ensures all pieces of client projects come together on time and on target, tasks are tracked, and nothing slips.
• Tech Stack: WordPress, Breakdance page builder, Canva, Adobe (bonus), AI tools, HighLevel (CRM/marketing automation), ClickUp (project management), Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, social scheduling tools.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Coordination: Own timelines, task lists, and follow-ups to ensure projects continuously move forward and nothing falls through the cracks.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate deliverables across contractors, vendors, and fulfillment partners to keep all work on schedule.
• Client Communication: Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for select clients, setting expectations, gathering approvals, and keeping them informed.
• Operational Support: Help build and maintain internal workflows, automations, client files, SOPs, and assist with billing, invoicing, and reporting.
• Marketing Execution: Perform occasional website updates in WordPress, draft social content, set up email campaigns, and support basic SEO and data reporting.
The Must-Haves
• Background: 1 to 2 years of experience in marketing, agency work, project coordination, or a related role; this is an entry/mid-level support role, not senior.
• Experience: Genuinely organized with a track record of tracking tasks, hitting deadlines, and flagging issues proactively; comfortable in WordPress and quick to learn new tools.
• Skills: Strong communicator comfortable on client calls and clear in writing; a self-starter who can manage their own workload; uses AI tools as part of their work; happy wearing multiple hats on a small team.
• Bonus: Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HighLevel), project management tools (e.g., ClickUp), email marketing platforms, social scheduling tools, basic Google Analytics, Canva or light Adobe work, and basic SEO concepts.
