The Tone:
This is a full-time role at OneStream Software, located remotely in the USA. OneStream Software delivers a unified Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platform for large enterprises, handling complex financial, operational, and analytical needs across highly regulated industries. The platform operates at enterprise scale, supporting mission-critical workloads for the Office of the CFO. The Software Engineer I designs, develops, tests, and maintains software components, building high-quality features and ensuring reliable, high-performing solutions for customers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software components within OneStream solutions.
• Implementation: Implement features using established design patterns and best practices under guidance from senior engineers, utilizing AI-assisted development tools while validating their output.
• UI Development: Contribute to UI development using modern UI frameworks including Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF.
• API Integration: Develop and integrate APIs and services following RESTful standards and practices.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with appropriate unit test coverage, participating in peer code reviews and assisting in defect resolution.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 2–4 years of professional software development experience, specifically with object-oriented programming and the Microsoft technology stack including C#, .NET, and ASP.NET. Basic experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF, and familiarity with data formats like JSON and XML.
• Skills: Solid understanding of software development fundamentals and object-oriented design; strong problem-solving and debugging skills; ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly; effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience building enterprise or platform-oriented applications; familiarity with cloud‑hosted or SaaS‑based systems; introductory experience with automated testing practices; Azure Fundamentals or entry-level Azure certification.
