Quality & Testing Intern | Gasser Chair
The Tone:
This is an internship at Gasser Chair, located in Youngstown, OH. Gasser Chair is a recognized leader in the design and manufacturing of high-quality seating for the gaming and hospitality industries, partnering with well-known brands to deliver custom solutions. This role supports the Quality team with product inspection, testing, and quality initiatives, providing hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes and quality systems. The intern will contribute to efforts that help maintain the company’s high quality standards, gaining real-world experience in quality assurance and manufacturing operations.

• Mission: Support product inspection, testing, and quality-related initiatives across operations to help maintain the company’s high quality standards.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Inspection: Assist with the inspection of materials, components, and finished products to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Testing: Support product and component testing activities, including accurately documenting procedures and results.
• Documentation: Maintain precise records of inspections, testing data, and quality-related findings.
• Issue Resolution: Assist in identifying and documenting quality issues or non-conformances, and support basic root cause analysis and corrective action efforts by gathering and organizing data.
• Improvement: Review quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, collaborating with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on quality initiatives and process enhancements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student. Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Strong interest in manufacturing, quality systems, and product testing, with the ability to follow structured processes and document findings accurately.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, an analytical mindset with problem-solving ability, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of quality principles or testing methods.
