Music Marketing Intern | Create Music Group

The Tone:
This is a part-time, hybrid internship at Create Music Group, located in Los Angeles, CA. Create Music Group, through its brand Flighthouse, is a leading digital entertainment brand that pioneers content for the next generation, amplifying culture across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. This role is crucial for supporting client marketing campaigns within the Influencer Marketing department, providing a hands-on experience and an overarching view of how music marketing operates in today’s industry. The internship offers training across multiple marketing departments, including Paid Media, Network Distribution, Music Seeding, and Creative Services.

• Team: Influencer Marketing Department, reporting to the Influencer Marketing lead
• Mission: To provide daily support for client marketing campaigns while gaining a comprehensive understanding of current music marketing strategies and operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Campaign Strategy & Sourcing: Assist with sourcing creators and developing creative strategies for influencer marketing campaigns.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign performance data and optimize campaigns for improved results.
• Trend Research: Conduct research on creators and trends relevant to campaign proposals.
• Client Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with the Influencer Marketing team to understand client goals and report on campaign performance, gathering data for final reports.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Collaborate with the Paid Media team, Music Creative team, and Network team on various projects and campaigns, and shadow other department leads.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in either an Undergraduate or Master’s program, with a preference for a Music or Business track, and able to provide proof of receipt of college credit for participation in this internship.
• Experience: Previous experience with entertainment marketing and music digital advertising is preferred.
• Skills: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional time management skills, and the capacity to work independently while contributing as part of a team.
