Marketing and Events Coordinator | Alliance Sport Marketing
The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at Alliance Sport Marketing, specifically supporting the Alliance Highway Safety division. Alliance Highway Safety specializes in creating impactful community messaging and executing highway safety programs directly with various states. This role is crucial for coordinating a variety of sponsorship events across the Southeast Region and country, ensuring targeted messages about safe driving practices reach communities to make a difference and save lives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Management: Staff and fulfill event metrics as scheduled, including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
• Travel Coordination: Plan, book, and coordinate all necessary travel arrangements for events.
• Partner Engagement: Contact and work directly with venue coordinators, school leadership, college career centers, and sponsorship partners.
• Campaign Activation: Travel to events, effectively market highway safety campaigns, and ensure all sponsorship requirements are met at each venue.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare professional event recaps for clients, report program data and communications to managers, and capture photographs of marketing activations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, specifically a junior/senior needing a semester-long internship to fulfill graduation requirements.
• Experience: No specific years required, but must demonstrate a well-organized approach, ability to multitask, and strong time management skills suitable for a demanding travel schedule.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), self-starter with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, ability to stay flexible and adaptable, and capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs as needed.
• Bonus: Familiarity with the Microsoft Teams Application and proficiency in creating projects using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva.
