The Procurement Intern will play an integral role in supporting supplier engagement, contract management, and the bidding process for small-scale projects, developing essential skills in sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sourcing: Source and evaluate suppliers in alignment with specific project requirements to ensure optimal selection and value.
• Bidding Support: Manage comprehensive documentation and vendor coordination for the bidding process on small-scale projects.
• Documentation: Prepare and process purchase orders and all related procurement documentation according to established procedures.
• Record Management: Maintain and update procurement records, contract files, and supplier databases by category for accuracy and accessibility.
• Relationship Building: Foster long-term, strategic partnerships by contributing to supplier relationship management initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree as a student in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward learning.
