Entry-Level Recruiter / Sales Trainee | Aston Carter

What You’ll Actually Do
• Build Relationships: Actively prospect for and engage with candidates and professionals through calls, LinkedIn, and email to build relationships and gather essential market insight, understanding company operations and how hiring supports their business.
• Qualify Hiring Needs: Conduct in-depth conversations with hiring leaders, asking targeted, business-focused questions to thoroughly understand roles, team dynamics, required skills, critical success factors, and hiring timelines for each opportunity.
• Source and Screen Talent: Identify qualified candidates through strategic sourcing and outreach initiatives, then conduct comprehensive interviews to assess skills, career goals, and cultural fit, preparing candidates for client interviews and driving timely feedback.
• Drive Placements and Revenue: Operate within a structured business cycle to manage the interview process, facilitate offers, and successfully place talent, directly impacting client revenue and solving critical hiring challenges.
• Manage Ongoing Relationships: Maintain consistent communication with placed consultants, support smooth first-day and onboarding experiences, and proactively build long-term client relationships that foster repeat business and sustained success.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in customer-facing, sales, leadership, or team environments is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for daily engagement with diverse individuals; coachable and eager to learn a structured sales and recruiting process; resilient and able to maintain consistency and effort through setbacks; ability to operate effectively in a performance-driven environment.
