Program Operations Content Programs Project Intern | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is a leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. This role supports the Program Operations team in the Entertainment vertical, which is responsible for delivering high-quality and effective B2B experiences for major partners and internal stakeholders. The intern’s contributions are vital for supporting the planning, management, and scaling of global content and partner programs.

• Team: Program Operations team in the Entertainment vertical, working closely with Program Managers.
• Mission: Support the Program Operations team in the Entertainment vertical by assisting with content partnership programs, tentpole initiatives, growth projects, and operational workflows.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Assist program managers in planning, coordinating, and executing content partnership programs, tentpole initiatives, and global collaborations.
• Operate: Aid operational workflows by tracking timelines, preparing for meetings, following up with stakeholders, and documenting projects.
• Research: Conduct research on industry trends, content categories, partner activity, competitive benchmarks, and market-specific opportunities.
• Communicate: Help synthesize research findings and program updates into clear summaries, presentations, trackers, and internal communications.
• Document: Maintain program trackers, dashboards, documentation, templates, and shared resources to improve team visibility and execution.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field; with a deep interest or demonstrated experience in the Entertainment industry (TV/Film).
• Experience: Prior internship, coursework, or project experience in program management, operations, media, entertainment, consulting, marketing, strategy, partnerships, or tech; experience supporting cross-functional projects, student organizations, campus initiatives, research projects, or operational workflows.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong research and analytical skills; comfort working with spreadsheets, presentations, documents, and collaborative project management tools.
• Bonus: Familiarity with TikTok, digital content trends, creator ecosystems, and/or media partnerships; comfort working with data, including tracking metrics, organizing information, and identifying patterns or insights; strong presentation-building skills and ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely; proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a global, cross-functional team environment; creative problem-solving mindset and willingness to support both strategic and executional work.
