GTM Intern | Etched
The Tone:
This is a 12-week paid internship at Etched, located in San Jose, CA. Etched is building the world’s first AI inference system purpose-built for transformers, aiming to deliver significantly higher performance and lower costs than existing solutions like the B200. The company is backed by hundreds of millions from top-tier investors and staffed by leading engineers, working to redefine the infrastructure layer for the rapidly growing AI industry. This GTM Intern role is critical for building the operational foundation of Etched’s go-to-market function, directly supporting product launches, managing deal logistics, and developing strategic partnerships in a field driven by a belief in model-specific hardware for increasing computational power. Interns will receive direct mentorship and contribute to a challenging and important problem of our time.

What You’ll Actually Do
• GTM Operational Backbone: Develop and manage the GTM operations engine, covering CRM, pipeline tracking, reporting, and lead generation infrastructure.
• Strategic Material Creation: Build essential high-leverage decks, performance benchmarks, and ROI/TCO models to support GTM initiatives.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate efforts across legal, architecture, and software teams, partnering with executives for customer assessments and analyses.
• Market Intelligence & Launch Support: Research industry model changes, data center development, and vendor news, and support product launches through operations, communications, and competitive strategy.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on GTM KPIs, OKRs, and overall engagement health, continuously iterating on systems to reduce friction and raise execution velocity.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A student targeting a Fall ’26, Spring ’27, or Summer ’27 internship period. Possesses a strong background or demonstrated interest in AI infrastructure, deep tech, or the semiconductor industry.
• Experience: Prior work or internship experience within early-stage or high-growth startup environments, specifically in operations, go-to-market (GTM), strategy, or chief-of-staff equivalent roles.
• Skills: Exhibits operational rigor combined with strong storytelling abilities and keen customer intuition. Demonstrates comfort working cross-functionally across various departments, from engineering to legal to sales. Possesses a strong interest in navigating fast-moving, high-autonomy environments with significant ambiguity. Capable of analyzing customer data, prioritizing actions effectively, and executing tasks quickly.
