Supply Chain Intern Fall 2026 | Rocket Lab

The Tone:
This is an internship at Rocket Lab, located in Long Beach, CA. Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company, designing and manufacturing rockets and satellites that enable scientific exploration, Earth observation, climate change missions, national security, and new technology demonstrations. This Supply Chain Intern role is crucial for supporting the global sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and efficient delivery of critical hardware for space systems and launch products.

• Team: Multidisciplinary team responsible for global sourcing, procurement, supplier relationships, cost reduction, and critical hardware delivery.
• Mission: This person will contribute to sourcing and procuring parts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the delivery of critical hardware for space systems and launch products.
• Tech Stack: SQL, PowerBI

What You’ll Actually Do
• Skill Application: Work closely with a mentor and department employees to apply knowledge and grow skills technically and professionally.
• Problem Solving: Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real challenges with a group of professionals.
• Progress Tracking: Attend frequent 1:1’s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success, learning, and provide progress updates.
• Networking: Enjoy tech talks and network with other interns and employees through social and professional events.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate program in an engineering discipline, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Operation Management and have at least one semester of school remaining post-internship.
• Experience: 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of supply chain.
• Skills: Supply Chain fundamentals; GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Bonus: GPA of 3.5 or above; 6+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of supply chain; Knowledge of the 5S principles; Experience with SQL and/or PowerBI; Six Sigma Experience; Knowledge of warehouse operations.
