What You’ll Actually Do
• Inventory Maintenance: Primarily maintains accurate inventory levels and organization within various inpatient units.
• Supply Cart Replenishment: Systematically replenishes supply carts, ensuring they are consistently stocked for daily operational needs across units.
• Storeroom Supply Issuance: Issues required supplies from the central storeroom efficiently and accurately to requesting departments.
• General Storeroom Support: Provides active assistance with general functions and various tasks within the storeroom environment as necessary.
• Expired Supply Management: Supports nursing units and hospital departments by ensuring all managed supply locations are consistently well-stocked and proactively free from expired supplies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or an equivalent combination of education and directly applicable related work experience.
• Experience: No prior work experience is required for this role.
• Skills: Core abilities include maintaining inventory, replenishing supply carts, accurately issuing storeroom supplies, assisting with general storeroom functions, and ensuring supply locations are well-stocked and free from expired items.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include relevant experience gained in a warehouse or storeroom environment, particularly demonstrating proficiency with an electronic inventory management system, or previous experience specifically within healthcare materials management. Additionally, a current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician may be required, depending on specific duties and regulations.
