Corporate Development Analyst | Edged

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Edged, located in the New York Metropolitan Area, NY, US. Edged builds and operates sustainable data centers and energy infrastructure, developing a global network of ultra-efficient, AI-ready data centers with waterless cooling for various customers. This role is crucial for supporting the company’s acquisition pipeline, capital formation efforts, and strategic growth initiatives, providing full exposure to corporate development and M&A.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Evaluation: Assist in evaluating potential investment opportunities, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships to support Edged’s growth ambitions.
• Financial Modeling: Support the creation and maintenance of financial models and valuation analyses, including scenario analysis and various transaction structures.
• Due Diligence: Participate in acquisition due-diligence tasks and coordinate with cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to the full development lifecycle.
• Reporting Preparation: Help prepare internal investment memos, presentation decks, and supporting materials for senior leadership review.
• Financing Support: Assist in the execution of debt and equity financings to support Edged’s platform growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; early career stage in finance or corporate strategy.
• Experience: 1+ years in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, real estate acquisitions, or similar analytical roles.
• Skills: Strong quantitative abilities, proficiency with Excel and financial modeling, effective communication, keen attention to detail, and analytical curiosity.
• Bonus: Eagerness to learn and grow with a willingness to take on varied tasks across finance, strategy, and operations.
