Product Development Business Management Project Intern (TikTok Shop – US Operation) – 2026 Start (BS/MS) | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is a global company known for its short-form mobile video platform, and it is actively expanding its e-commerce capabilities. This role is crucial for supporting the US operation team in executing campaigns and driving strategic initiatives, connecting brands with consumers in meaningful ways within the evolving e-commerce landscape.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Facilitate discussions: Participate in cross-functional meetings with domestic and international teams and bring key findings back for project team review.
• Develop documentation: Create document frameworks in conjunction with project managers and, optionally, present contributions in larger meetings.
• Analyze data: Perform intermediate data analysis using existing data points from dashboards and queries to generate theories for policy and feature development.
• Drive adoption: Collaborate consistently with account managers and business development managers on go-to-market strategies, with success measured by adoption rate.
• Improve processes: Identify issues and flaws in policies and features, then formulate productive solutions backed by research, data, and individual experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree with a strong interest in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Communications, Political Science, International Studies, or a related field.
• Experience: Ability to commit to at least a 3-month internship period. Proven capability to create compelling strategy documents from cross-functional inputs and external clients. Demonstrated experience prioritizing requirements and requests from other teams.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of conducting both qualitative and quantitative research. Excellent cross-team collaboration and communication abilities.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Tableau, SQL, or other data visualization software. Experience with live streaming, especially live selling. Understanding of the Collectibles, Luxury Resale, or Art & Nature space. eCommerce experience, including selling, corporate experience, or being a heavy user of various e-commerce platforms.
