Solutions Engineer Intern (Advertisement Team) – Summer 2026 (BS/MS) | TikTok

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at TikTok, available in various offices globally or remotely. TikTok operates a leading short-form mobile video platform, committed to inspiring creativity and bringing joy to its global community. This role is crucial for helping external clients and partners leverage TikTok’s advertising services, driving their business growth through technical solutions and strategic partnerships. The internship aims to provide hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths while working on real-world scenarios.

• Mission: Identify and solve technical challenges for advertisers, building solutions to help them achieve business objectives on the TikTok platform.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with customers’ and partners’ technical staff, while also driving joint engineering roadmaps.
• Opportunity Identification: Work with sales partners to identify business opportunities that align with advertisers’ business goals.
• Solution Development: Build and ship new products and end-to-end customized solutions in collaboration with the Ads product engineering teams.
• Product Influence: Influence the roadmap of product development to effectively solve identified business challenges.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience shipping production quality code, along with the ability to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer 2026.
• Skills: Familiarity with general purpose programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C/C++; the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences; and demonstrated knowledge of API and backend systems design.
• Bonus: Experience working with cross-functional teams, a solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and development capabilities, and comfort working in a culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment.
