• Pay: $80000–$113000 yearly
• Mission: Manages daily operations, enforces safety standards, and guides a team toward operational excellence, significantly impacting the efficiency and success of BNSF’s operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Safety Leadership: Lead safety briefings, conduct safety meetings, investigate accidents, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with Federal Railroad Administration and BNSF rules.
• Crew Management: Facilitate crew discussions on safety, manage compliance with attendance policies, and conduct operational audits while riding trains.
• Operational Support: Assist crews with personnel paperwork, vacation requests, and provide transportation to support timely operations.
• Logistics Coordination: Correspond with customers regarding shipments and plan the movement of cars, locomotives, and crews within terminals.
• Operations Execution: Coordinate with various departments to execute the operations plan, implement policies, supervise employees, and manage daily train and switching operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business, Communication, Technical, or a similar field from an accredited university. Must maintain at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA.
• Experience: Less than three years of professional work experience or military service, excluding internships, part-time jobs, or positions held while pursuing a degree.
• Skills: Robust decision-making, advanced problem-solving abilities, dedication to fostering a safety-first work environment, leadership, teamwork, clear communication, adaptability, and resilience.
• Bonus: Prior internship experience in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field, or having held a leadership position in a campus, community, or extracurricular organization.
