What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Prepare and format various documents, including form letters and spreadsheets, using software applications.
• File Management: Manage claim files, including accurate setup, maintenance, location, and proper documentation within the system.
• Administrative Processing: Process and organize various packets and print reports as required for administrative functions.
• Office Communication: Coordinate office communications, including answering and initiating telephone calls, transmitting facsimiles, and processing returned/unidentified mail.
• Supply Management: Maintain stationary supplies and manage outgoing mail services, including overnight and messenger deliveries.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or GED required, demonstrating foundational education for office administration.
• Experience: Less than one year of clerical experience is preferred; equivalent combinations of experience and education will also be considered.
• Skills: Good oral and written communication, PC proficiency (including Microsoft Office products), strong organizational skills, and good interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
