Project Management & Strategy Intern, Fall 2026 | The Walt Disney Company
The Tone:
This is a full-time, five-month internship at The Walt Disney Company, located in Santa Monica, CA. The Walt Disney Company is a global entertainment and media conglomerate, known for its diverse portfolio of businesses spanning media networks, parks and resorts, studio entertainment, and consumer products. This role is crucial for supporting the Strategy & Project Management Team in driving key Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and partner operations initiatives, ensuring program execution and operational rigor during a significant transition period.

• Mission: Support program execution, uphold reporting rigor, and identify process improvement opportunities for global BPO and partner operations initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Management: Support execution across multiple initiatives by maintaining project plans, tracking milestones, and ensuring alignment on timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Reporting & Insights: Develop and maintain recurring reporting deliverables, synthesizing data into clear updates and insights for stakeholder reviews.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate existing workflows and reporting processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for simplification and assist in developing standardized templates.
• Operational Coordination: Coordinate across cross-functional teams and partner groups to ensure timely inputs and execution, analyzing data to identify trends and surface risks.
• Automation Support: Help identify and implement basic automation or tooling improvements where applicable to enhance operational efficiency.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student. Junior or Senior standing preferred, with major or previous coursework related to operations, analytics, project management, or process improvement.
• Experience: No specific years required, but demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and synthesize insights into clear recommendations.
• Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills; detail-oriented with a proactive mindset; proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs); demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively.
• Bonus: Experience working with reporting or data visualization tools such as Airtable and Tableau.
