Human Resources Assistant | Stuart Pro Heating & Air
The Tone:
This is an entry-level role at Stuart Pro Heating & Air, located in Buford, GA. Stuart Pro Heating & Air is a trusted leader in Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Services across Georgia, having serviced the region since 1997 and consistently recognized as Best of Gwinnett for the last 10 years. This position is a foundational part of our Human Resources team, playing a key role in preparing payroll, creating a welcoming experience for new employees, and supporting their smooth integration into our company. We are looking for an individual who is outgoing, meticulously detail-oriented, and genuinely eager to build their career within the Human Resources field.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Payroll Management: Systematically gather and prepare essential payroll data for final processing, meticulously reviewing timecards, hours, pay codes, and PTO for accuracy.
• Employee Relations & Support: Serve as a friendly and approachable point of contact for employees, assisting with basic payroll and timekeeping questions and addressing other general concerns.
• HR Record Keeping: Uphold the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality for all human resource files and records, ensuring compliance and privacy.
• Onboarding & Orientation: Coordinate comprehensive new employee onboarding, including diligent document collection, initiation of background checks, system setup, and conducting engaging orientation sessions.
• Departmental Assistance: Provide essential clerical and administrative support to the broader HR department, contributing to efficient daily operations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level experience or eagerness to begin a career in the Human Resources field, with a focus on connecting with people and maintaining organization.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, and the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information, and similar computer applications.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; exceptional interpersonal skills that demonstrate tact, professionalism, and diplomacy, supported by an outgoing personality; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
