Intern – Product Marketing | Octus

The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Octus, located in New York, NY. Octus is a global provider of credit intelligence, data, and analytics, relied upon by financial professionals across various verticals since 2013. This role offers direct, hands-on experience in content curation and marketing communications within a business-to-business environment. The work supports Octus’s consistent delivery of information to its customers and ensures internal teams are equipped with current materials.

• Pay: $22 hourly
• Team: Product Marketing team
• Mission: This person will ensure Octus’s content is discoverable across internal and external channels and that internal teams have current, high-quality marketing materials.
• Tech Stack: Web CMS platforms, Pardot, Pendo

What You’ll Actually Do
Content Management: Support web tagging initiatives for articles and curate, organize, and externally publish Octus coverage to drive website traffic.
Blog Publishing: Assist in building, QAing, and publishing blog posts optimized for SEO and AI Optimization (AIO).
Newsletter Operations: Help build customer, cross-sell, and prospecting newsletter programs.
Event & Webinar Content: Support presentation development, assist with quality control, and curate supplemental materials for events and webinars.
Sales Enablement: Maintain the library of educational and sales presentations and assist in reporting on content usage by the Commercial Team to identify performance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Some exposure to marketing, communications, or related coursework or experience through internships, student organizations, or class projects.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage organized libraries of information; comfort working with data and curiosity about performance metrics; strong cross-functional communication skills and a commitment to quality and brand standards; resourcefulness and curiosity to learn about Octus and its products.
• Bonus: Familiarity with web CMS platforms or marketing tools.
