Sales And Marketing Intern | Synaptix

The Tone:
This is an unpaid, experience-based internship at Synaptix, located remotely across the United States. Synaptix is a health tech company that builds a platform to close the language gap in healthcare, handling the full multilingual clinical visit from real-time medical interpretation to notes, charting, and patient-friendly summaries. This role is crucial for leading outreach to clinics, physicians, and investors, directly contributing to the company’s growth as it moves toward its first paid pilots this summer.

What You’ll Actually Do
Prospecting: Build targeted lists of clinics, private practices, and physicians in settings where Synaptix is most suitable.
Outreach: Write and send personalized cold and warm outreach emails, and make calls, to book discovery calls and product demos.
CRM Management: Maintain a clean and current CRM by logging every contact, conversation, and next step to ensure continuity.
Client Nurturing: Run the complete follow-up cycle to convert initial replies into scheduled calls and scheduled calls into potential pilots.
Performance Reporting: Report weekly on outreach metrics, responses, and booked calls to collaboratively sharpen the sales approach.

The Must-Haves
Background: Currently enrolled at a college or university in the United States, with exceptional high school students considered based on resume and commitment.
Experience: Prior sales, marketing, fundraising, or other client-facing experience through internships, club work, campus roles, or personal projects; or a track record of achieving measurable results such as sales, sign-ups, fundraising totals, recruiting, or audience growth.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, high initiative, consistency, follow-through, organized, and resilient in managing multiple conversations and handling rejection.
Bonus: Familiarity with CRM tools, email outreach, LinkedIn, or basic marketing tools; genuine interest in healthcare, startups, or the mission of Synaptix.
