This internship program is designed to introduce enthusiastic individuals to the practical aspects of drafting through expert shadowing, basic project assignments, and hands-on exercises. It offers a unique opportunity to build foundational drafting skills while gaining exposure to various engineering disciplines such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Controls Design, preparing interns for potential full-time employment within a professional engineering environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drawings: Assist in creating detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior drafters and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Revisions: Revise and update existing drawings to accurately reflect changes and corrections.
• Documentation: Organize and maintain CAD files and documentation according to company standards.
• Participation: Participate in team meetings and actively contribute to project discussions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional who has recently graduated or is expected to graduate by December 2026 from a technical school or has completed a CAD course, demonstrating a strong foundational interest in engineering or related technical fields.
• Experience: Basic practical experience and understanding of AutoCAD software are required, which will be further developed through hands-on, project-based drafting exercises during the internship period.
• Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy in all drafting and documentation tasks.
• Strong collaborative ability to work effectively and seamlessly within a team environment.
• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, for clearly conveying technical information and participating in discussions.
